Technologies

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. These are critical areas of study in the Faculty of Engineering Technology. Our programs provide opportunities for work-integrated learning, giving students the opportunity to build relationships within the industry while gaining real-world experience.

Where We Become Future Ready

Engineering Technology students are involved in the start of the manufacturing process, leading to careers in many high-demand fields. Students learn in an environment that includes the latest equipment used in the industry, and they have opportunities for field placements and pathways to other postgraduate programs. Our relationships with leading local and global companies provide students with opportunities for presenting capstone projects to industry leaders.

A yellow, stylized depiction of a griffin, the mythical mascot of Chatham Campus, with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle, is shown on a transparent background. The creature stands upright on its hind legs with its wings spread and its mouth open.

Powering the Future

Students gain essential hands-on plant operation, maintenance, and water testing experience. Many of our labs in the School of Engineering Technologies have a cap of 20 students per section, this provides the benefit of small class sizes and the opportunity for focused attention to master the skills needed to be future-ready.
